Some men just can't help themselves from staring at a woman's cleavage.
And Nicole Kidman's colleagues took things a little further when they appeared to be talking to her chest at the premiere of Hemingway Gellhorn in Cannes tonight.
The 44-year-old actress arrived at the screening in a plunging Ralph Lauren gown that glittered thanks to extensive sequin embellishment.

I'm not down there! Nicole Kidman was seen bending her head down as director Phillip Kaufman and Clive Owen appeared to be having a conversation with her chest
As the Australian star posed up with the cast and crew of the film it seemed like the men stood next to her were having a conversation with her chest.
The film's director Phillip Kaufman had leaned across the actress to speak to Clive Owen but given Nicole's height it appeared like they were in fact in deep conversation with her cleavage.
Nicole was seen bowing her head down perhaps to listen in on the chat or maybe she was aware of how the si tuation may appear.

Awkward pose: Before Nicole had ducked down Philip and Clive had been whispering and appeared to be listening to her chest

Dazzling dress: The Australian actress looked lovely in the intricately embellished Ralph Lauren dress
As well as showing off a bit of flesh at the front the glittering gown also boasted a low cut at the back.
Nicole had her hair pinned back off her face with a few and tight curls at the back.
The gown showed off plenty of Nicole's skin which appeared to be translucent.

Pale and interesting: The shimmering gown also had a plunging back which showed off her pearl-like skin

Bright lights: Nicole was seen waving at fans ahead of the screening

I've got my eye on you: Nicole was seen glancing at Clive but her fixed expression gave nothing away about her thoughts
Her pale body appeared to be almost completely blemish free which is remarkable given her age.
At one point Nicole was seen staring at Clive but her fixed expression gave little away about her thoughts on her co-star.
There's little doubt that the film brought Nicole, Clive and Phillip and the pair were seen holding hands as they posed for photographers.
In fact the director was even seen offering his hand to Nicole to help her up the steps and into the theatre.

Helping hand: Nicole was seen guided up the stairs by Philip ahead of the screening
Earlier today Nicole had 44, turned up to a photo call for the film working a sexy Mad Men-style checked dress.
Gathered at the waist with a thick black belt, Nicole's ensemble was very similar to the sort of thing often sported by stars January Jones and Christina Hendricks on the hit show.
Nicole wore her hair in soft waves, pinned back at the front and falling loose around her shoulders.
She kept her make-up simple and summery, with a sweep of blush, pink lipstick and mascara.

Sixties siren: Nicole Kidman turned up to the Hemingway Gellhorn premiere at Cannes today working a sexy Mad Men-style checked dress

Team effort: Nicole posed alongside the director Philip Kaufman and her Hemingway Gellhorn co-star Clive Owen

Telling a true story: Nicole plays war correspondent Martha Gellhorn, who had a love affair resulting in marriage with Ernest Hemingway (played by Clive)

Passionate about the project: Nicole was reportedly proactive in her involvement in the film from the moment she heard about the script
The off-the-shoulder cut added an alluring touch to Nicole's below-the-knee dress, and she completed her look with black heels and hoop earrings.
Nicole plays war correspondent Martha Gellhorn, who had a love affair resulting in marriage with Ernest Hemingway (played by Clive Owen).
The film sees the couple experience a tumultuous affair in Spain in 1936, amidst the horror and disruption of the Civil War.

Sultry silhouette: Nicole's nipped-in waist created a pretty feminine outline
Nicole was reportedly proactive in her involvement with the film from the get go.
Director Philip Kaufman (The Unbearable Lightness of Being, The Right Stuff) recalled in a recent interview that he met the actress at a party before he started making the film.
'She said, 'I want to work with you. What are you doing?' he said.

Kept it simple: Clive Owen was sharp in a simple black suit and tie with a white shirt
He then told her about Hemingway Gellhorn, after which he claims: 'Two days later, she called me and said, 'I just read the script.'
Nicole reportedly got hold of it through unofficial channels, but was immediately prepared to play what Kaufman described as 'the model of that 1930s-40s smart, tough babe.'

Look familiar? Nicole's dress wasn't dissimilar to the kind of thing worn by January Jones in Mad Men

Blond bombshell: Nicole in Hemingway Gellhorn
Before Cannes Kaufman made it very clear that he wished to honour to keep Gellhorn's reputation: 'Though she was on the covers of major magazines and is to this day regarded by many as the greatest war correspondent of all time,' he said.
'She has often been reduced to 'Hemingway's third wife,' a mere footnote in his life... She was the first correspondent ashore at Omaha Beach, and one of the first correspondents at Dachau.'

Nicole looks stunning. The evening dress is beautiful. She used to wear really low heels or flat shoes when she was wed to Tom Cruise, I bet she's glad that she can now wear high heels.
