His is a story of superstardom, dancing... and tummy rubs from Simon Cowell on the set of Britain’s Got Talent.

No, not David Walliams but Pudsey the dancing dog, who is getting his own book after putting his paws to a £350,000 deal for a ‘bi-dog-raphy’.

A source said: ‘Pudsey is one of the hottest tickets around. This book will follow him from puppyhood to Britain’s Got Talent winner and meeting Cowell. It’s a paws-and-all book and will be a fascinating read.’

It comes a week before Pudsey heads off to break Hollywood, with spots on the Tonight Show and America’s Got Talent.

Along with his owner and dance partner, Ashleigh Butler, 17, Pudsey will fly out on Cowell’s private jet â€" as he is simply too precious to fly in cargo as he would have to do on a commercial flight.

Pudsey, a border collie, bichon frise and Chinese crested cross, and Ashleigh, a schoolgirl from Wellingborough, Northamptonshire, scooped £500,000 for winning Britain’s Got Talent in May.

Nearly 15 million watched as Pudsey and Ashleigh scooped the £500,000 prize after winning the ITV talent show in May.

After their win, it was estimated that the pair could make up to £10 million in five years.

However, Miss Butler, a schoolgirl from Wellingborough, Northamptonshire, told how the win had quickly gone to Pudsey's head, admitting he had become 'very diva-ish' - and had been demanding steak dinners.

The teenager trained the dog to jump, dance on his hind legs, and weave between her knees, culminating in their final routine set to the music of Mission Impossible.

Responding to their win, an overjoyed Cowell said: 'My life's work is now complete.'

Pudsey - who was escorted by three security guards at the ITV studios - has had his name trademarked by Cowell's company Syco and has already received offers for a book deal, as well as a dog food advert.

He has a pet passport ready for the journey to Hollywood - and is now being managed by showbiz agent Jonathan Shalit, who looks after Myleene Klass and X Factor star Tulisa Contostavlos, and discovered Charlotte Church.

He is now insured for £1 million and Miss Butler has been forced to pay for security around her family home, including a brick wall.

Pudsey bred by Miss Butler's mother Penny and was going to be sold for a few hundred pounds but was instead given to her as an 11th birthday present.

She admitted: 'Dogs have been my life since I was about five. That's all I have ever really known.'

The sixth-former was due to take AS level exams in English, information technology, psychology and dance in May.

But she told the Mail that she might not bother going back to school at all.

She said: I haven't had any time to do any revision - don't tell my head of Sixth! I've never been the brightest or the smartest at school.

After we won, mum said, "Oh, we won't have to worry about your results now, will we!".'
