Demi Moore's daughters have become estranged from their mother, it has been claimed.

Daughter Rumer,23, was by her mother's side when she was rushed to hospital following a binge on nitrous oxide in January and in the weeks that followed.

But now it has now been alleged that she and her sisters Scout and Tallulah have stopped talking to the Ghost actress.

A source told MailOnline that the girls have 'broken all ties' with Demi,49, due to her emotional breakdown in the wake of her split from Ashton Kutcher.

'Demi is very messy right now and the girls have been waiting to get out and move on and now they're being sucked back in, and they're all getting into various kinds of trouble.'

The Willis girls, Rumer, Scout, 20 and Tallulah, 18, also appear to be struggling to cope with life without Ashton.

The source said: 'The girls loved him because he actually took parenting seriously even though he was younger and they miss him'

Apart from Tallulah's graduation ceremony, Demi has not been seen out with her daughters much in recent months.

Sources close to the family told RadarOnline that the family has reached 'breaking point' following a series of fights.

'Rumer, Scout and Tallulah just don't want to deal with the drama at the moment,' the source said.

'Since breaking up with Ashton, Demi has been a mess.

'The girls were there for her through it all -- the split and the rehab but now they just feel like they need a little distance.'

Things were said to have come to a head when Demi attended Tallulah's high school graduation.

The trio of sisters allegedly did not want their mother there. Demi arrived alone looking miserable, while the girls looked happier with father Bruce Willis, and they were not pictured with their mother.

There have also been reports that the girls continued relationship with Ashton Kutcher have caused tensions.

Ashton was present at a nightclub to see Rumer sing back in April and the pair were also seen meeting up in May.

A source told the gossip site: 'They [Rumer, Tallulah and Scout] all adore him and talk to him regularly which Demi hates, ut he was a huge part of their lives when they were growing up and they don't want to break off all contact with him.'

The family have had their fair share of drama of late. Earlier this week Tallulah was at the centre of nude photo scandal. And sister Rumer is lamenting the disappearance of her dog.

Ms Moore's spokesperson and a representative for Rumer have not yet responded to calls for comment.

I wish that the only thing in my life i had to worry about was the disappearance of my dog.

Demi's kids are old enough to decide they want contact with Ashton. It speaks well of Ashton as a potential father that Demi's kids still want contact with him.

Who knows what these daughters have been through so dont be so quick to judge them. Demi has a lot to answer for behaving like a love sick teenager instead of a responsible mother who should be showing better example.

For all who say shame on the kids, how about shame on Demi for expecting her kids to pick her up. She should be reaching out to adult friends and family, and I imagine if her kids have given up, this is not the first time they have been leaned on. A toxic relationship with a parent can be devastating, and sometimes you do have to walk away or you will be dragged under. I should think it is costing these three a huge amount emotionally to leave her, but sometimes a person has to really hit rock bottom and see what they are losing with their destructive behaviour before they will change.

I don't believe a word of it. Complete and utter rubbish. They are known to be extremely close to their mother.

Maybe it'll be a wake up call for Demi. Perhaps the girls are doing it for their mother's own good.

How can anyone leave nasty comments whey they are not in the situation and don't know the full story?

How very very sad :( Demi has obv had a breakdown and needs support but I understand how the children may have had enough , Hope they can mend what's broken x

How nasty! I dont understand how any daughter or daughters in this case could not speak to their own mother. They have probably had the best of everything and are spoilt brats! They will be back one day when they need something, I just hope Demi has the strength to ignore them, but I somehow doubt it.

I really hope that this isn't true - especially considering the rumours of Ashton's unfaithfulness during the marriage. Heartbreak is devastating no matter how old you are.. but it *does* pass with time. There are people that you think you'll never get over losing and then when you finally do you have to wonder why you put yourself through so much hell for someone who wasn't worth the aggro. By all accounts Bruce Willis is a good father and his daughters have a great relationship with him (as has Ashton). That being the case then it seems to me if this story is true then the girls need to check their priorities where loyalty is concerned.
