Jodie Marsh steps out in grotesque bird¿s nest shoes

For once, nobody was looking at Jodie’s bulging biceps.

All attention was firmly fixed on her bizarre ‘Satanic’ footwear complete with a pair of REAL birds feet.

The 33-year-old was spotted wearing the avian atrocities as she arrived at ITV studios today in London for a guest appearance on the This Morning show.

They are not the only quirky clogs in Jodie’s shoe closet - just weeks ago she turned up at the same ITV studios rocking a pair of teapot shoes Lady Gaga would be proud of, complete with heel handle and toe spout.

We’ve seen muscle heads down raw eggs before, but as Jodie herself posted on Twitter: ‘Who needs a protein shake when you can carry eggs around in your shoes? Haha x x x.'

She revealed to her 290,000 Twitter followers that the offending articles were specially designed for her by Milly J Shoes.

According to Milly J herself, Jodie spotted one of her creations online - the aforementioned ‘brew shoes’ - and immediately appointed her as her official shoe designer.

‘They’re called ‘The Dark Side of Jodie Marsh’ because Jodie Marsh specifically tells me she loves anything that’s Gothic, anything that’s a bit weird and a bit way out.

‘It is a bit grotesque. But the thing is with Jodie Marsh - and my brand - it’s really out there,’ the London designer said.

‘They sort of epitomise Jesus Christ and the dark side of religion. It’s supposed to be about Easter and the rebirth of Christ, and also infusing that into the Satanic side that Jodie Marsh likes as well.

The £500 black high heels are covered in black feathers and feature a pair of miniature nests filled with tiny gold leaf painted eggs.

One has a crucifix in it, while the other has a real pair of crows feet preserved by a taxidermist and painted in gold leaf.

Milly said she was invited around to Jodie’s house so the bodybuilder could supply the keywords the shoemaker needed to dream up the kooky creations: ‘Gothic’, ‘dark’ and ‘surreal’.

‘She looked at the pair of shoes and said “Oh my God! I didn’t know these were going to be that crazy!”

‘She took me to the loo of the place because she wanted to look in the mirror, she was standing on a stool trying to look in the mirror to look at the shoes, and she said “I absolutely love them”.’

According to Milly, a shoe is not just a shoe. ‘A shoe is far more than a shoe. Each one has its own philosophy behind it.

‘It’s about society, it’s about anthropology, it’s about art, it’s about communication. I try to infuse all of that into a shoe.’

She says she already has a new custom pair for Jodie in the pipeline, and animal fans turn away now. Milly J claims ‘each one is more out there than the last’.
