She hasn't been seen out of her holiday clothes in weeks so it was quite a surprise when Coleen Rooney dressed up for night on the town in LA.

The WAG showed off her model assets in a dazzling black peplum dress coupled with a pair of huge gold earrings which sparkled in the nightlight.

And the 26-year-old mother-of-one certainly looked at ease with the glamourous lifestyle as she smiled for cameras outside.

It was only a shame Wayne didn't make much of an effort in frayed jeans, a lumberjack shirt and some boat shoes.

Coleen showed off her near perfect tan and her bright red shoes perfectly complimented her simple outfit for her night on the tiles.

And Coleen must have been having a great time as she tweeted later in the evening that she loved Bootsy Bellows nightclub in LA.

Wayne also caught up with an old friend in LA - Piers Morgan.

The pair were seen cosying up and chatting, even posing for a rather embarrassing snap with Piers' hand on Wayne's shoulder.

However it hasn't all been nightclubs and cocktails for the couple who the day before, went sight-seeing in the Hollywood Hills.

Coleen looked pretty in a turquoise leopard print dress as she accompanied Wayne to see the Hollywood sign

Wayne was similarly laid-back in a red t-shirt and pale beige shorts.

Incredibly, it seems Coleen at least is less familiar with the area than one would imagine.

Replying to a Twitter follower recommending an Italian restaurant in Santa Monica, she wrote: 'Will try it, 1st time here!!! Xxx'

The pair were also seen catching up with the Ashley and Shaun Wright-Phillips as the group made the most of the sunshine.
