Wafting around a boudoir with perfect hair and make-up is not something Amanda Holden can  usually fit into her busy schedule.

After her role as a judge on Britain’s Got Talent, the 41-year-old mother of two is about to take on a new job as host of ITV’s talent show Superstar.

Add in looking after daughters, Lexi, six, and Hollie, six months, and moments to pamper herself are few and far between.

Luckily she didn’t have to do it all herself. These pictures were taken at a glamorous shoot for August’s Easy Living magazine.

Miss Holden nearly died in January after suffering a haemorrhage while giving birth to Hollie.

Before Hollie arrived, she tragically had a miscarriage and a stillbirth.

She said she had persuaded husband Chris Hughes to try for another child immediately after losing a baby boy at seven months.

‘The only thing I knew instinctively was we had to try again,’ she said.

‘It’s almost primal. The only thing that will save you is another baby.’

Botox seems to be out of her beauty routine these days.

Asked if she still uses it, she said: ‘No more. Or rather, I’m not admitting to it anymore.’

She also spoke of her friendship with her Britain’s Got Talent boss Simon Cowell, who is said to have had a fling with Dannii Minogue.

'I'm the only one he hasn’t slept with,' she said. 'And it’s staying that way. I love Simon. I met him 15 years ago. The first thing I said was: "Don’t get any ideas. Iâ €™ve booked a car to take me home".'
