Catherine Tyldesley makes the most of sunny weather in pretty floral print dress

She's been born and bred in Manchester so she knows just how bad the weather can be.

But whenever there is some respite from the rain Catherine Tyldesley always make the most of an opportunity to wear something summery.

Today the Coronation Street actress was seen arriving on set in a sweet red and blue dress.

And thanks to the rare appearance from the sunshine she didn't need a coat or jacket.

The actress wore her long blond hair in a plait at one side and carried her favourite straw bag across her shoulder.

The actress looked in trim shape and it is no doubt thanks to her fitness training and healthy eating habits.

Catherine has been working with personal trainer Sam Witter and this morning she enjoyed her third fitness session of the week.

The trainer has opened a Twitter account called @SamandCath which detail her eating and working out regime.

Today the account told fans that Catherine had enjoyed a hearty, and healthy breakfast to kickstart her day.

The actress, who plays feisty Eva Price on the show, enjoyed an omelette filled with turkey and tomatoes and a black coffee.
