She's an internationally-acclaimed model, and graced the cover of Vogue for the first time at the tender age of 16.

So it's slightly surprising to see Lily Cole sporting a somewhat dowdy look.

The 24-year-old was seen at Soho House Apartments in Berlin today wearing a decidedly aging ensemble.

Lily wore a loose sand-coloured dress, nipped in at the waist with a thin white belt.

She had a long navy cashmere scarf draped around her neck, and as usual opted for flat pumps.

The model wore little make-up, with just a touch of red lipstick and mascara for definition, and her hair appeared unstyled.

She read a poem as part of a debate at Liberatum Berlin hosted by Grey Goose vodka.

The two day summit brings together cultural highlights and icons to launch the Soho House apartments.

Admittedly Lily was a little more stylish upon her arrival, when she added a black leather jacket and patent orange bag.

However it still wasn't quite the look one might expect from the first ever global ambassador for Body Shop, which it was recently announced Cole has become.

Lily was joined in Berlin by James Franco, who took part in a debate during the day.

She was seen sitting next to model and actress Carmen Dell'Orefice in the audience.

Sex and the City star Kim Cattrall was also present for the previous day's events, as was Marianne Faithfull.
