She is constantly changing her look but Katy Perryâ€™s most recent makeover is perhaps more dramatic than the rest.

The singer underwent a drastic transformation for a photo shoot with Vogue Italia which left her almost unrecognisable.

The 27-year-old can be seen sporting a striking wig in the series of images, which gives her a platinum blonde bob.

While her look is extremely different from those the colourful star usually favours, her cartoonish style is clearly evident in the photos.

The Wide Awake singer can be seen posing in an array of glamorous ensembles including a floor-sweeping powder pink dress while toting a matching fur jacket.

She also sports head-turning cat-eye sunglasses by Linda Farrow for Prabal Gurung that add to the futuristic theme of the photo shoot.

Katy is somewhat reminiscent of her fellow star Lady Gaga with her playful look and ultramodern outfits.

The images appear in the Fall/Winter 2012-2013 issue of the Italian fashion magazine.

The star is currently in London, England, where she last night attended the European premiere of her warts and all film, Katy Perry: Part Of Me.

Dressed in a tutu-style white and gold dress by Marchesa, Katy looked every inch the global superstar as she smiled and signed autographs for the hundreds of fans who had gathered at the Empire Theatre in Leicester Square for a glimpse of their idol.

The Californian singer even went to the lengths of wearing Union Jack fake eyelashes, which were only visible to those lucky enough to get close enough to the star.

Katy made one young fanâ€™s day as she arrived on the red carpet and made a beeline for a little boy who planted a sweet kiss on her cheek.
