It's only the second week of The Bachelor and Spencer Matthews is wasting no time getting to know the contestants.

The former Made In Chelsea star, 23, enjoyed a passionate kissing session in the hot tub with dancer Jessica Quioque, 26, after deciding she had won the photoshoot task.

Later in last night's episode, Spencer also attempted to kiss Billie Piper lookalike Tabby Richards, 24, but she told him he would have to be patient.

After eliminating 24 down to 15 in the first episode last week, Spencer had to reduce his list of potential soulmates down to 13.

He split the women into two groups, with the first seven dressing up for a film-themed photoshoot with him.

Russian actress Natalia Savelyeva, 31, managed to scare him off when she told him he was a 'prize' as she dressed up as Julia Roberts' prostitute character from Pretty Woman.

He said: 'Natalia referred to me as a prize and I don't think that's the best way to start off a relationship on.'

For the shoot, glamour model Brandy, 25, recreate Patrick Swayze and Demi Moore's pottery scene in Ghost, while Bucks model Renay Louise, 24, wore a pair of seashells over her breasts to become Daryl Hannah in Splash.

Spencer admitted he came very close to kissing Renay during the shoot: 'She's a very sexy girl, she's got a lot of energy, very positive. We were very close to kissing.'

He also nearly came close to kissing Tabby during their Romeo Juliet shoot, as he whispered: 'It's really odd not kissing you,' as they stood nose-to-nose.

But it was Jess who impressed the most during their burlesque shoot, so she was chosen to enjoy the hot tub session with him.

He told her: 'You were the best director by a long way. I like being bossed around.

'You're great and I really like you.'

As they sipped their Prosecco, Spencer presented her with a rose and they started kissing.

After the session, Jess gushed: 'Being the first girl to kiss Spencer I don't want to tell anyone.'

The remaining eight women were taken on a catamaran cruise the next day, with beauty queen Aisha Uka admitted she was terrified of being at sea.

Spencer noticed her downbeat mood on the boat and took her aside, where she admitted her father had tragically died at sea in Goa 11 years ago when she was 15.

However, it turned out to be a bonding session as Spencer revealed his older brother Michael had died on Mount Everest when he was 10 years old.

He said: 'She was really open, honest and candid about past events. I look for someone with that deep-founded honesty.'

He also had a private chat with Mancunian personal assistant Khloe Evans, 21, who was feeling insecure.

He told her: 'I'm not here to just hook up with people. I'd go on holiday... I'm here to find someone I have a connection with.'

He later enjoyed a private date with Tabby, bringing her on a helicopter ride to a spa where they massaged each other, before enjoying an intimate dinner for two.

Presenting her with a rose during dinner, he said: 'You mean more to me than the other girls.'

When they moved onto the balcony, Spencer asked if he could kiss her: 'I've wanted to kiss you ever since we had that photoshoot.'

However, Tabby was playing hard to get: 'You're not gonna have one yet. You just gotta wait.'

Both Jess and Tabby survived another week, with Spencer eliminating American student Iraida Neira, 25, and London model Jerri, 28.

While Iraida understood, admitting: 'There wasn't any chemistry there from the beginning,' Jerri appeared hurt.

She said: 'If I saw him walking down the street I wouldn't have looked twice at him.'
