Most people like to settle into their hotel and maybe familiarise themselves with their surroundings when they arrive at their holiday destination but not Frankie Essex.

The reality TV star arrived in Ibiza yesterday and couldn't wait to hit the beach and show off her bikini body.

Following a diet and sessions at boot camp, Frankie's hard work has clearly paid off as she appears to be slimmer than she was a few weeks ago.

Wearing a pretty blue bikini, the Essex blonde spent time posing against a tree and sipping on a cocktail before heading into the sea.

Frankie chose a strapless two-piece to top up her tan in and the swimwear even featured a floral pattern on the top.

She kept the rest of her look simple wearing a jewelled head accessory, a watch and showed off her bright pink fingernails.

Onlookers would be forgiven for thinking that Frankie had never ventured into water before as while in the sea she pulled a variety of silly faces as if she was scared of getting her hair wet.

To ensure that she dried off properly, the blonde stood in the Spanish sunshine and posed against a boat and then enjoyed another cocktail.

When she decided it was time to head back to her hotel, Frankie covered up a little bit and put on a floor-length kaftan that featured a multi-coloured tie-dye pattern.

However, she was eager to still show some of her enviable figure off and made sure the garment was left open as it blew in the breeze.

She matched it with a pair of simple pink flip flops and a personalised handbag.

Frankie is currently holidaying with her brother Joey Essex, who also features on the reality show, and she's clearly grateful for the quality time.

'Nice to be with my bro in #ibiza' she tweeted last night before no doubt heading to one of the island's popular bars or clubs.

Frankie desperately needs to speak to a bikini stylist. This blue 2-piece just isn't happening for her. It's way too old fashioned. All the Essex girls I know wear g-string style bikinis on the beach in order to show-off their brazilian wax job. Frankie needs to up her game. I'm very disappointed with her tame safe bikini selection.

she looks good but its not exactly hard when you're her age, haven't had kids and make your living out of looking hot. Obviously she can afford to have a personal trainer, diet coach or what ever. I am 31 with 2 children and a stressful job and am a good stone smaller than her and more toned through sheer hard work and determination!

I think it's great she's toned up! I also like that she isn't embarrassed by stretch marks etc....however those teeth...she looks like she borrowed them of Jodie Marsh...too white and Veneers gone mad!

She has teeth that Janet Street Porter would find hard to use! I can't understand why she has such bad stretch marks ...was she at one point in her life really obese? As for those eye's.......can she see anything ???
