Lauren Goodger stepped out in London last night for the first time since it had been reported she had been 'axed' from The Only Way Is Essex.

As the reality star and her agent attended the launch of the Elite 2012 Model Look UK competition, an online video featuring Goodger speaking out on the reports was posted online.

In the interview with exclusivetv.co.uk, she admitted: 'There's been some issues which are currently being looked into while TOWIE's on a break.

The 25-year-old was reported to have clashed with producers after turning up late to filming of co-stars James 'Arg' Argent, Billi Mucklow and Cara Kilbey's London Marathon party.

As a result, Goodger was only seen fleetingly in last night's episode, which was filmed at George Shillibeer pub in Islington, North London, on Sunday.

Stepping out in a black maxi dress last night, she tweeted a link to the video, writing: 'Watch my only interview this week talking on http://exclusivetv.co.uk.'

According to Wednesday's Sun, Lauren accused producers of treating her badly and said she was the real star of the show and threatened to leave and join MTV so she and her sisters Nicola and Rianna could become the British 'Kardashians'.

An insider told the paper that the beauty salon owner shouted at bosses and moaned that her scenes kept being pushed back.

They added: 'Bosses were livid as Lauren was already an hour late while the rest of the crew had been there all day filming Arg, Billi and Cara doing the marathon.'

And it seems that she was more than a little worse for wear, as the source said: 'The producer told Lauren she wouldn’t speak to her while she was in that state.'

The source added: 'The cast and crew have had enough of the way Lauren is acting. They have got to the point where they feel that if she wants to quit she should. Nobody is bigger than the show.'

She also wrote a couple of cryptic Tweets implying that she had fallen out with the bosses and wrote: 'Think about time spread my wings a lot things arising @NicolaGoodger @RiannaGoodger.

'Never been so angry in all my life! All I can say is what a shame.'

As a consequence of the row, Lauren will not film any more scenes until she has met with bosses to discuss her future.

So as her co-stars continued filming this week, Goodger headed to Tatiana Hair Salon in London to get some new extensions.

She tweeted: 'TatianaHairExts Love this honey colour! Thank you xx.'

Since her ex-fiancé Mark Wright left the show after the third series, Goodger has become more of a supporting character with her former love rival Lucy Mecklenburgh and friend Lydia Bright's storylines featuring more heavily.

In a recent interview with some of her TOWIE co-stars Jessica Wright and Ricky Rayment, they said the cast had been split into two camps - Team Jessica and Team Lauren, following the women's row off-camera during Series 4.

Ricky told the Daily Star last week: 'I am not really friends with Lauren so I don’t mind telling the truth. She likes herself quite a lot. All she talks about is herself on the show.

'She still thinks she’s queen bee. She was at her peak in the early series and she’s clinging on.'

Jessica added: 'I've told producers I don’t want any scenes with her. I honestly never want to talk to her again.'
