The couple were snapped out in central London this weekend sitting outside a cafe kissing and hugging.

And friends of Wallace, 40, told The Mirror that she is 'head over heels' in love with Arnold, 36.

One said: 'It’s early days but you can see how much she’s into him. He is a thoroughly decent bloke, too, so it’s a great match.'

Arnold, who is the son of Polly Perkins who plays June Brown's sister Rose in the soap, reportedly nearly died after spending £500 on a drug binge.

He is believed to have met Wallace at the Soap Awards last month.

Tim, who has been clean for nine years, is close to his godmother who once paid for a three-week trip for him to attend Thailand’s Thamkrabok monastery where monks treated him for his for his addiction.

Brown once said: 'Tim had got to the point where all of us feared he might die.

'His skin wasn’t very good, his teeth were discoloured and his nature changed. He became deceitful, because he was always lying, trying to get money to feed his habit.'

She added that he would pretend to hold himself together while recording in the studios during the day but would then roam the streets at night on the hunt for drugs.

'I realised I was killing myself, or rather my soul. But I didn’t care. I felt I wasn’t worth anything.'

Jessie broke up with her former fiancé Vince Morse last August after he sent sexy pictures of her to ex-girlfriend Karen Short and called off their £300,000 wedding.

She fled to Crete with a friend and was given six months off from EastEnders, on which she plays Queen Victoria pub landlady Kat Moon, wife of Alfie, played by Shane Richie.

While she was on her break, Vince appeared on This Morning to bed her forgiveness and make a public apology in an attempt to win her back.

It was reported last week that she was dating builder Raymond Lister after they were spotted on a string of dates at their local pubs in Surrey.

When asked about Wallace, Lister played down the nature of their relationship, telling the Daily Star Sunday: 'She is a friend. That’s all I know.'

Looks great sitting amongst the monks in a combat jacket. Muppet.

Maybe the press should leave Jessie alone, she doesn´t need a public showing of her romance, after what she´s been through.

Sounds like another recipe for disaster Jessie...

Seems like an excellent choice of partner!

She sure can pick em!

She has no luck with men does she. I think this has disaster written all over it too

While £500 is a lot of money, as drug binges go it's hardly a world-beater.......
