Earlier today she was spotted on the Coronation Street set being assisted by a personal security guard as she tottered along in a pair of towering high heels.

But it was back to her favourite boho look this afternoon for Catherine Tyldesley, as she reappeared later wearing a black maxi dress.

The plunging neckline made for a high-impact look, and colourful splashes of sparkle brightened up the ensemble.

Catherine wore her hair in the same Alice band which she had sported earlier, and looked as though she were heading home after the day's filming.

She carried what appeared to be a breast cancer awareness tote bag, with 'check your boobies' written on the front, complete with a 3D bra.

White flip flops made a change from her footwear earlier, and must have come as a relief for the actress.

Catherine had said on Twitter that she was shattered after a spot of early morning exercise, writing: 'A 5.30am swim seemed like such a good idea at the time #fallingasleepstoodup'

When she arrived to film scenes for today in a pair of sky-high heels, it's no wonder she needed a bit of a helping hand.

The pretty blonde actress clung to the arm of her personal security guard as she teetered on to the set in her peep-toe nude heels.

Smiling for the waiting photographers, Catherine looked stunning in a printed blue dress which highlighted her hourglass curves.

She topped off the dress, which featured a low V-neck, full skirt and frilled sleeves, with a backcombed hairdo, kept in place by a sleek black alice band.

Catherine had earlier written on her Twitter page that she was struggling following a very early beginning to the day.

The stunning actress, who plays Eva Price in the ITV1 soap, has previously spoken about her incredible weight loss after she managed to go from a size 22 to a size 10.

She told Now magazine earlier this year: 'Obviously I'm very proud of my weight loss, but I've still got body issues, like my stretchmarks and my stomach.

'Compared to what I was when I was a teen, I've got nothing to complain about. I tried all the fad diets and even the revolting cabbage diet.

'The only thing that worked was healthy eating and exercise. I re-educated myself about food with the help of a nutritionist.'

Catherine wasn't the only member of Corrie seen arriving on set today.

Jane Danson also opted for a blue outfit in a form-fitting dress and black heels, with her blonde hair swept up in a chic updo, as she was escorted on to film her scenes.

And why the red arrows for me? SHE CAN'T ACT imo, she's new to Corrie, why is her mugshot in the paper every day when she hasn't even earned her stripes? It's me again, Jon, London, back by popular request. Now, my initial post is being heavily red-arrowed, by all you Tyldesley-worshippers. This indicates that (A) All you women are hypocrites who believe in sexual-assault, as long as the victim is a man (RED-ARROW), or (B) All you women are quite happy to receive an unannounced slap on the derriere, yourselves (GREEN-ARROW)..........There's no way out of this, it's one or the other! Now, get cracking and decide!
