In her role as Lady Mary Crawley in the award-winning series Downton Abbey she has been lucky enough to wear the most amazing and beautiful wardrobe.
And last night, Michelle Dockery was praised not only for her own sense of style but for 'flying the flag for Britain around the world'.
The actress was given the Editor's Special award at the Glamour Women of the Year awards, held in Berkeley Square in London's Mayfair.

She looked stunned as she was presented with the accolade by Glamour editor Jo Elvin, and took to the stage looking delighted in a very pretty blue and black floral dress.
It was also a good night for her co-star Jessica Findlay-Brown, who plays her younger sister Lady Sybil Crawley.
She won the Best UK Actress award which was presented to her by British actor Jason Isaacs.

And as she took to the stage in her very pretty peach floral dress, she thanked her co-stars and 'all the wonderful women in Downton, it's amazing to work with all of you'.
Kylie Minogue, who arrived in a very stunning sparkly gold dress by Stella McCartney, celebrated her 25th year in pop and her 44th birthday with the Outstanding Contribution Awards.
Presented to her by good friend and Scissor Sisters frontman Jake Shears, she dedicated the award to her grandmother, her sister Dannii and her mother Carol.

And she wasn't the only pop star praised last night after Jessie J, who was wearing a very foxy dress, was awarded the Best Solo Artist award which was presented to her by The Voice co-star Will.i.am.
And she told the crowd at the party: 'I've had so much fun. Last year I was a girl, this year a woman because I get my bum out more and I get an award and a goody bag.'
Singer and former X Factor judge Kelly Rowland walked away with the TV personality gong, which Britain's Got Talent judge Amanda Holden scooped the Best Theatre Actress for her role as Princess Fiona in Shrek The Musical.

She said: 'I'm thrilled! I started out in the theatre so it's great I get an award for something everyone loves.'
Other winners at the bash included This Morning and The Voice host Holly Willoughby for Best Presenter and Florence And The Machine, who were named Best Band.
Actress Lily Collins, the daughter of pop star Phil Collins, won the Breakthrough award, while The Help star Viola Davis took the Film Actress award and Desperate Housewives star Eva Longoria won an Inspiration gong.

Singer Dionne Warwick was named this year's Icon, in an award presented by Rolling Stone Ronnie Wood.
The Comedy Actress Award went to Sofia Vergara who said: 'This is bloody amazing! I don't know what to say in an English accent!' and Eva Longoria won the Inspiration of The Year award for her charity work.
Fearne Cotton won the Radio Presenter award and thanked Radio who let her 'chat a huge amount of s*** every day' while Jessica Alba won the Entrepreneur gong for developing her household products.

Accessories designer award went to Charlotte Olympia Dellal best known for her Kitty Flats worn by Beyonce and Sarah Jessica Parker and Glee star Lea Michelle won US TV Actress.
She said: 'I really love being on my TV show, I'm happy to be on something that makes people laugh.'
The Sporting Achievement award was presented by Fred Flintoff to jockey Hayley Turner and Caitlin Moran won Writer of the Year and joked that she couldn't believe Glamour readers 'voted for a book about strident feminism and my big hairy m****!'

The night was hosted by Graham Norton who was very rude in some of his delivery and took a pop at cosmetic surgery and Elizabeth Hurley and had the audience in raptures when he said: 'Was thinking of getting some work done.
'Some people get their a******** bleached which is what I believe Liz Hurley did to Shane Warne.'

Kylie deserves the top award for her 25 years at the top as a global star. She also looks stunning as always. A true Icon.

Kelly Rowland is simply stunning and I am so pleased for her! She may not have been everyone's cup of tea but she clearly had a lot of fans as the award was voted for by viewers.
