Former boxing champion Frank Bruno has found happiness with new love that brings a smile to his face

Frank Bruno hasn't had a professional boxing match since 1996, and his personal life looked to be on the ropes.

But the 50-year-old has found love for the first time since he split from ex-wife Laura 10-years ago, and she is helping him fight his way back to health.

The former world champion is now dating Nina Coletta and the Scottish hairdresser has given him a new lease of life.

That famous Bruno grin has returned to his face and the boxing legend has a spring back in his step.

Nina, 46, has been helping Frank overcome his bipolar disorder and the pair were spotted near her home in Glasgow, Scotland, just two weeks after he checked out of a clinic where he had received treatment.

The pair spent the weekend in the Scottish city and went to Nina Coletta's Hairdressing Salon, on Friday afternoon.

Last month Bruno told Piers Morgan in a televised interview: 'She is a great girl and we get on well. Now I just want a little bit of happiness for myself.

'We’re ­taking each day as it goes. I can see light at the end of the tunnel.'

Frank, who was dressed in a red velour tracksuit and trainers, popped next door and asked a florist where the nearest cash point was.

After getting pointed in the right direction he walked down the street, watched by a beaming Nina, who waited outside her own shop for him.

Once Bruno returned he helped his girlfriend move tables and chairs from outside her shop and also loaded some goods into her car.

After leaving the shop they headed in separate cars to an Italian Deli, Cafe Pizzeria called Celino's in the east end.

A friend of the couple told the Sunday Mirror: 'Nina is funny, classy and intelligent and Frank adores her.

'He has had a difficult few months, but he is in a better place in his life now. And one of the main reasons for that is Nina.'

The father-of-four certainly looked in great shape as he stripped off and flashed his impressive muscles.

Frank clearly still works out and displayed a six-pack and defined chest with huge biceps and shoulders.
