It’s perfect for members of the dork side!
For decades, Star Wars fans pretending to be a Jedi have missed one key ingredient in their mock-intergalactic escapades - a realistic-looking lightsaber.
But now they’ve been given new hope after a laser sword, which claims to be the most realistic yet, went on sale.

Light fantastic: The LaserSaber will brighten the day of any Star Wars fan
The makers, ‘Wicked Lasers’, claim that its LaserSaber ‘pulses with energy’ and ‘harnesses the power of the force’.
It features ‘an ultra-smooth magnetic gravity system that can "power up" and "power down" the blade’.
Which surely is just what every inter-galactic wannabe warrior has been after for years.

The chance to joust like a Jedi, though, comes at a price.
You can buy the hilt for $100 (£60), but the actual laser - a ‘Spyder 3 laser’ â€" costs another $300 (£190).
Whether the price can be lowered by subjecting wholesalers to Jedi mind tricks, remains to be seen.
Almost 200,000 YouTube users have watched footage of the toy in action, with some going starry eyed at the prospect of owning one.
One user commented: ‘This is the best thing I have ever seen… EVER.’
However, despite the obvious application of the LaserSaber - a toy to be played with - the video voiceover warns that it's not 'a toy', as the Spyder 3 laser is 'the most powerful laser you can legally own'.
