It's pink, vibrates and, according to Cheska, 'it's fun' but Made in Chelsea's ditzy duo haven't been shopping at Ann Summers.

King's Road's finest were spotted using a new fitness device called the Shake Weight on a recent episode of the popular E4 show.

And the following day, Google searches for the gadget sky-rocketed and online sales rose by a staggering 300%.

Good vibrations: Made in Chelsea's Cheska and Binky tried out the Shake Weight on the show and sent sales rocketing by 300%

The girls were filmed in lycra fitness gear working out with their Shake Weights in front of a fitness dvd and making some rather naughty gestures in the process.

The Shake Weight, also a favourite with glamour-puss and WAG Alex Curran (she hailed it the ultimate toning gadget after giving birth to her baby Lourdes), is said to banish bingo wings and to tone the chest and upper body.

It has previously featured on the Jonathan Ross show and also been demonstrated by celebrities including Dermot O’Leary and Holly Willoughby.

Dynamic Inertia: so that's what they call it these days

Dynamic Inertia: so that's what they call it these days...

Says Andrew Malcher, from the Shake Weight's distribution company, 'this has always been one of our most popular fitness items, with over six million sold worldwide.  I’m not surprised the girls from Made In Chelsea like it â€" it’s easy to use and really effective but most importantly as Cheska says - it’s fun!’

The gadget encompasses a motion technology called “Dynamic Inertia” creating additional resistance during each movement which dramatically increases muscle activity.

It is said to tone the triceps, biceps, shoulders and chest in half the time of a standard weights session.

RRP £19.95 or £29.95 in pink, available from highstreettv.com

"Sales rocketing by 300%" What, you mean they sold 4 instead of 1??

Cheska is the only one I find attractive out of all the Chelsea/TOWIE crew's. Thats just me though, most wont agree.

had to get in on this one and shoot down the naysayors. I knew my girl friend wanted one mainly for chin arms and legs etc so i got her a portable spinning massger cost around 30 bucks this was a year ago I have one to now boy does it work i got rid of the sagging neck and its a great all rounder for hand arms legs and another goodies ( no more spider veins on my ankles) its great for both of us as i can use it on her back etc and she can do like wise and as me mate for a long time I can say she looks 10 years young.

How sad that people copy nobodies from tv. Why can't people be their own person instead of copying all the time?

New fitness device? It's years old.

do a search on the mail website and you will find alex gerrard this at tescos 2 years ago. recycling your old stories again at the mail

Becky, Coventry - If this toned your arms as you say it did, couldn't you put this movement and your newfound strength to better use for 5 minutes a day? I'm sure your partner would be much more appreciative and you'd have more fun too! And BB says bodybuilders laugh at it? Honey, the whole world laughs at it.

When I see these I laugh and wonder if it'll spit out change and tell you to get a taxi home, a la South Park. And as for new ... No, Stephanie Hirschmiller they've been around for years, they've just been blatantly product-placed by the company in this trashy TV show. Toning takes effort, not a gadget you stand there holding like a tool. Any woman who thinks this looks good and will tone you up obviously has lost their dignity.

South Park do a hilarious show about Shake Weights
