She is well known for her collection of saucy stage outfits and suggestive dance moves.
And Rihanna didn't disappoint her expectant fans as she took the American Idol stage tonight in a typically revealing ensemble.
The 24-year-old singer displayed her toned arms and muscular legs in the outfit of black bra top complete with pointed studs and a pair of tiny hotpants with fringed double slit skirt.

The star also showed off her new long dreadlocked hair style during her performance of latest single Where Have You Been.
She teamed the striking ensemble with black nail varnish, chunky black boots and black and silver jewellery.
Accompanied by a menagerie of dancers in minimal black outfits, the number featured laser lights, smoke and some energetic dance moves.

The single is from the singer's latest album Talk That Talk which has been certified platinum in the U.S.
The star is clearly a fan of the top rated TV talent show, telling the audience: 'I love you Idol' at the end of her number.
With Jennifer Lopez also performing on the show, Rihanna clearly had to put in an impressive performance.

Other stars taking the stage included Neil Diamond who performed a rendition of hit Sweet Caroline with some of the male finalists.
Soul singer Chaka Khan also attempted to give the young pretenders a run for their money in a slinky brown catsuit as she performed her hit I'm Every Woman alongside the former female contestants.
But the ladies lost out again tonight when finalist Phillip Phillips became the fifth male contestant in a row to be crowned Idol winner.
Jessica Sanchez, 16, came in second after a record 132 million votes were c ast by the viewing public.

Earlier, Rihanna had debuted her new dramatic hairstyle on Twitter, posting a picture of her which appeared to show her lying in bed and make-up free.
The Talk That Talk singer posted alongside the image: ‘Wake bake shake dem dreads.’
During her time in London over the past few weeks, Rihanna was seen at countless events and parties - as well as jetting back and forward to various locations promoting her movie debut Battleship.

But the singer did admit recently that sticking to such a hectic schedule was beginning to take its toll.
She said: 'One morning last November I woke up and started crying so hard.
'If I cry, it's because I'm very angry and I can't do anything about it because I've run into a dead end. That's when the tears would come down.'

Rihanna is a very beautiful woman and puts on a great visual performance, but she can not sing live!! The only contemporary pop and RnB global superstar I think has the ability to do a full on dance routine and is vocally always on form when it comes to live performances is Beyonce! - I guess that's why she is the Queen Bee, at work UK, 24/5/2012 10:46--------------------- Although Beyonce's a great singer, her dance routines aren't that difficult. Usher could also sing whilst dancing; and although I'm not a fan of Chris Brown, the reason why he tends to lip-synch is because his dance routines are really difficult (his singing is not as good as the others, but he's probably the best dancer in the music industry).

Backs up the thesis that if you are short of real talent try selling it by using sex - grumpy, north yorkshire, 24/5/2012 12:57 I seem to remember Elvis gyrating his hips in a suggestive manner but I don't think anyone would call him untalented, (PS the term Rock n' Roll is in itself sexual slang)
