Pop star Sophie Ellis-Bextor is celebrating after giving birth to her third son.
The singer, 33, and her husband, The Feeling bassist Richard Jones, 32, welcomed baby Ray Holiday Jones at lunchtime today.
The excited dad took to the band's Twitter page to announce the birth: 'It's a boy! Ray Holiday Jones was born today at 12:35 weighing 7Ib 15.

'Smitten': Sophie's husband Richard announced the birth on his band's Twitter page
'Mother and baby doing great. We are truly smitten. Love to u all. Rx.'
Sophie went into labour soon after uploading a photo of her heavily pregnant belly on her Twitter page on Tuesday.
She wrote: 'Nearly there...!'
Little Ray joins older brothers Sonny, who turned eight on Monday, and Kit, three.
Sophie and Richard announced her third pregnancy on her Twitter page last October.
Happy families: Sophie and Richard, who have been married for nearly seven years, now have three sons
It appears Sophie's pregnancy with Ray was her smoothest yet.
Sonny was born eight weeks premature by emergency caesarean section after she developed pre-eclampsia.
In an interview published on her official website this week, she said medical staff had been keeping a close eye on her.
She said: 'It's been phenomenal. The people at the hospital have been absolutely brilliant. I do really appreciate it.
'They've had to keep an eye on me in case I started to get ill again, but I didn't. It's all good.
Musical family: Richard is a bassist with The Feeling
'I'm pretty sure it's going to be another boy. We had quite a big visual clue at one of the scans!'
And Kit was also premature, weighing just 2lb 10oz when he arrived nine weeks early.
Sophie, whose mother is former Blue Peter presenter Janet Ellis, and husband Richard married in Italy in June 2005.
The couple started dating in 2003 and discovered she was pregnant with Sonny just a few months together.
Meanwhile, Richard's The Feeling bandmate, drummer Paul Stewart and his Irish singer wife Sinead welcomed a baby girl Emerald last Wednesday.
Paul posted a photo of him cuddling his new daughter on the group's Twitter page, writing: 'Emerald Stewart was born on 18 April 2012. Sinead Paul are overjoyed and already besotted with their new baby girl.'

3 boys are a wonderful gift, nobody needs to here the "shame it's not a girl" rubbish. Love my 3 to bits, and don't have to put up with those lovely teenage hormones ;) Congratulations to them both :)

Lovely news, especially after difficulties with her last 2 pregnancys. I'm about to have my third boy in a few weeks, over the moon. CDd, what are you on about?!

Well if she has a girl next time she'll have 3 big brothers to look after her and make her feel safe like I did growing up :) there's something about pregnant women that just looks absolutely gorgeous!

CDd, UK - what a horrible thing to say. I have 3 boys and I LOVE it! I have no desire for a daughter, and when we have our next child we hope to have another boy too, we have even decided on his name. Children should be loved for who they are, not what is between their legs. Girls are not better than boys and boys are not better than girls. All children are amazing. Congratulations to Sophie and her husband, having three boys is amazing :)

She's horrible - like an alien or a slightly less repulsive Lily Cole. Te husband's a bit odd too. I saw one of her kids on tv, and let's just say that the family gene pool is very shallow.

Congratulations, but three boys. You gotta feel for her poor love. Fingers crossed for a girl next time. - CDd, UK, 25/4/2012 18:35---------------------what a stupid thing to say! I would imagine that she's more than happy to have 3 healthy boys. I too have 3 boys and would not swap any of them for a daughter.

Lovely news from a very normal family - how refreshing. dont think we;ll be seeing 'baby Ray' perched on Sophie's hip being taken out for lunch like an accessory any time soon. Phew! Congrats to you all!

So pleased to hear that there were no complications this time. Sophie must have been so relieved that all went well. Congratulations to the both of them.
