She's been keeping a low-profile since calling off her wedding to Vincent Morse last summer.
But it looks like Jessie Wallace may have a reason to smile again after striking up a romance with a builder.
The EastEnders actress, who has recently been on a break from the soap, is said to be dating Raymond Lister, who lives in Surrey.

Heartbreak: Wallace called off her wedding to Vincent Morse last year
The soap star, 40, and grey-haired Lister have been spotted on a string of dates at their local pubs.
When asked about Wallace, Lister played down the nature of their relationship, telling the Daily Star Sunday: 'She is a friend. That’s all I know.'
In August last year, Wallace, who plays Kat Moon in the soap, was devastated when she discovered her now ex-fiancé had sent explicit photos of her to an ex-girlfriend.
Businesswoman Karen Short also told a tabloid newspaper that she had spent the night with Morse in December 2010 - when he was dating Wallace.
The unfortunate story hit the papers just days before Wallace and Morse were expected to tie the knot.
The revelations prompted Wallace to call off their £300,000 wedding and she ended up going on their honeymoon to Crete with a male friend instead.
In the aftermath of the split, Morse ended up going on This Morning to make a public apology to the actress.

He said: 'I made a mistake and I'm mortified.
'I'd never do it again, I'm sorry and didn't feel great and from that moment on it made me love her more.'
Prior to her relationship with Morse, Wallace has also dated American Andy Burton - who sold a story on the actress - and policeman Dave Morgan - father of her seven-year-old daughter Tallulah.
