With a rap star boyfriend and her love of material things, we wouldn't be surprised if Kim Kardashian splashed out on a chrome-plated car.
So when the socialite was spotted posing in a chrome-plated Audi R8, fans could have been forgiven for thinking she'd gone too far.
But it turns out the ostentatious vehicle actually belongs to her 'brother-in-law' Scott Disick - partner of her elder sister Kourtney.

Nevertheless, it appears the curvy reality star was certainly enjoying posing in the flash car, admitting the reflective wrap meant she had plenty of places to admire her looks.
She uploaded several photos of her posing in the car on Twitter, writing: 'Scott's sick new car! Chrome!'
She joked: 'Who needs a mirror when I'm driving @scottdisick's car!?!'
The comment was then retweeeted by Scott, who agreed: 'No need.'

Kim's mother Kris Jenner also tweeted her own photo of Kim in the vehicle, writing: 'Why would @KimKardashian need a mirror when she has @ScottDisick 's Batmobile???? #reflection.'
An Audi R8 costs around £140,000 and Disick would have spent between £30,000 and £40,000 to have the chrome wrap added.
As well as the wrap, he also splashed out on 20" gloss black Freddo-M wheels from the Monoleggera Series, which was done by Calabasas Luxury Motorcars.
His Audi is just one of Disick's many extravagant vehicle purchases.

He just bought a matte black Range Rover in February, which he also customised by having a 'full onyx body kit' and '24 Forgiato wheels' added, but it appears he is already selling it again for $64,995, according to the Calabasas Luxury Motorcars' Facebook page.
He's also been spotted in a Rolls Royce Phantom and a grey Lamborghini Murcielago.
Fans of the Kardashians' reality shows will remember Kourtney and Scott clashed in an episode of Kourtney Kim Take New York when he bought a $245,000 Rolls Royce Ghost to impress some business clients.
Disick is the latest in a list of celebrities who have splashed out on the extravagant customisation.

Canadian singer Justin Bieber received a $100,000 chrome-wrapped 2012 Fisker Karma as an 18th birthday present from Ellen DeGeneres in March.
David Beckham has had his Porsche wrapped in matt black, while England teammate Wayne Rooney had his silver £150,000 Range Rover turned white.
Stoke City footballer Jermaine Pennant recently got a vinyl car wrap for his £130,000 Aston Martin DBS.
Doncaster Rovers player El Hadji Diouf has had his Mercedes McLaren SLR vinyl wrapped in mirrored chrome.

Once again, the DM stretches its imagination to find any excuse to print a story about Kim or her narcistic family. You would think, with the hundreds of posts stating they are fed up with seeing these irrrelevent stories plastered on this site, the DM would take note and respect the wishes of their readers. Obviously not.
