As any Big Brother contestant knows, making a fool of yourself is always a sure-fire way to get attention.
And today's task gave all the housemates ample opportunity to do so, as they competed in a dance-off task to win the chance to enjoy a hip hop party in the evening.
The group was divided into pairs at random to compete against one another.

Out-cringing each other: Tonight's task saw the Big Brother housemates compete in a hip hop party
As a professional dancer, Lydia acted as judge, and assured the gang 'I will do it 100 per cent fairly'.
Deana and Conor were the first to compete, and Deena added a touch of hip hop style to her perfornance by tying a scarf around her mouth while gyrating energetically.
Lydia commented: âWe all love a bit of Conorâs wormâ¦not like that.âÂ

Gave it some: Benedict and Luke A were almost in sync as they attempted to show off some 'gangsta'-style moves
How low can you go? The housemates had to compete against each other in pairs, and Ashleigh and Luke S certainly went all out to impress

Don't hurt yourself! Some moves attempted were more ambitious than others
To Deana she said: âI felt you kept your attitude going from the beginning to the end even when Conor was getting in your face you did not break that attitude,â and Deena was declared the winner.
Arron and Sara were next, and Lydia praised Arron's 'athletic' performance,â before saying Sara 'left your inhibitions at the bedroom doorâ¦a brilliant performance.â
Sara was declared the winner, and Becky and Caroline were up next to show off their best moves.

Unlikely victor: Lydia declared Scott one of the winners, despite saying his competitor Adam 'was' hip hop

Throwing shapes: It was certainly a task which took advantage of the housemates' fondness for showing off
After watching their performance, Lydia said to Becky: âI think I speak on behalf of everyone here, that was absolutely amazing.â
To Caroline, she added: âCaroline, 10 points for enthusiasm,' but Becky was the clear winner.
Next up were Shievonne and Lauren, and Shivonne's powerful show impressed Lydia, who said 'I really like how you broke it down.â
Bottoms up: Not all the moves were immediately recognisable from hip hop

Throwing their weight around: It was as though the housemates would stop at nothing to win a place at the party
To Lauren she said: âA bit more Britney Spears as opposed to Lilâ Kim, and Shivonne was declared the winner.
When Benedict and Luke Aâs turn came, Benedict's stamina saw him win the day, since Lydia felt that Luke A 'gave up' a little in the middle of his performance.
Ashleigh and Luke S give it their best, but each was as embarrassing as the other, and Lydia commented: 'You are a match made in heaven, as bad as each other.â

Points for effort: Some risked injury for a shot at winning the coveted prize
Got swag? The men in particular tried to mimic the gait of famous hip hop stars
Ashleigh was declared the winner, and it was between Adam and Scott as to who would win the last place at the night's party.
After watching, Lydia told Adam: âYouâre definitely hip-hop, I enjoyed it a lot.â She said to Scott 'thanks for just letting go, really nice to watch.â
She concluded: âI have to be fair and give it to Scott.'

Time to celebrate: The victorious housemates got dressed up for their hip hop party

Not impressed: The losers looked glum as they sat morosely around the hot tub
Scott is declared the winner.
Later in the Diary Room, Shievonne let some steam off chatting about the day's task.
She said: âIâm not one to call names but the cringiest was Ashleigh and Luke, at one point I didnât know what I was actually looking at.â
In the evening, the losing housemates sat in the garden while the fun continued inside.

'I just want to get crunk': Caroline was especially upset not to be involved in the party
Caroline admitted she feels just like she did in year eight when she wasnât invited to the New Year party.
She later moaned to Big Brother: âThis is torture, theyâre all there having the best time of their life and Iâm in the bedroom just bummed out.âÂ
After the party it was Becky's turn in the Diary Room. She was far more positive, gushing: âItâs been a brilliant party, I couldnât think of anything better than splitting up the house to have a party.âÂ
