They've ignited a new friendship, most recently being seen on the town together in Liverpool earlier this week.
And like most new friends Katie Price has taken to Twitter to contact pal Lauren Goodger and show off the TOWIE star's new tanning range in a bid to raise its profile.
But while she may have had good intentions, she failed to give off a good impression of the beauty line when she took to Twitter tonight.

Price, 34, was given a bottle of Goodger's new Lauren's Way tanning lotion.
And she decided to try out the product for herself.
Although Katie couldn't help but find it amusing when her face was caked in the dark brown lotion, while her jumper was splashed with the cream.
The glamour model posed with her trademark pout and could just be made out through the brown-coloured product as she took a picture of the after effects.

She wrote: 'Lol haha I've put @laurengoodger fake tan on I hope it washes off lighter haha I look like I've been in mud haha.'
But The Only Way Is Essex star seemed unphased at seeing the striking image and insisted she would be happy with the results in the morning once she lets it take full effect.

Lauren replied: '@MissKatiePrice u look like u have had a fight with the bottle hahaha! Tweet a pic 2moro!! Gona look bronzedd!! Love @Laurens_Way x.'
The pair were spotted out enjoying a night out together over the weekend.
They headed to Newz Bar in Liverpool and posted photos of themselves up on Twitter cuddling up to each other and pouting at the camera.

Hmm I think Katie has method in her madness. I have Laurensway and it leaves my skin with a lovely golden colour, people always ask if I have been anywhere nice and they don't believe me when I tell them it is faketan. I know it is not washed off in that picture but I never go that colour no matter how much I apply.
