We live in an internet-obsessed culture.
Social media has given virtually everyone on the planet a platform to share their most intimate secrets.
And as these awkward images show - there are some things people should keep to themselves.
Time to put down the laptop: A mum-to-be blogs about her labour experience, while strapped to a hospital bed giving birth
Lycra lover: Did this fitness fanatic mean to share his exercise attire with the entire world wide web?
Unnecessary caption: It's pretty obvious what this glassy-eyed pair have been up to
A collection of the most inappropriate, and cringe-inducing photographs online reveals the real dark side of the internet.
One image shows a woman updating her MySpace page between contractions, while she's giving birth.
In another, two girls proudly celebrate taking drugs for the first time.
Tweeting on the toilet: This web user can't stop tweeting. Even when he's performing bodily functions
Too much information: Who could possibly want to know what these frisky tweeters have been up to?
Dead serious: Open casket funerals aren't an opportunity to take photos of the body and spread them around the world wide web
A happy couple announce they've recently had sex - and a man pouts at the camera, while sitting on the toilet.
One photo features a bearded, middle-aged exercise enthusiast bouncing on a mini-trampoline, wearing a lycra body suit.
The most disturbing photo though, is of a recently deceased relative resting in a coffin - alongside the caption 'look like she sleep'.
Seductive or constipated?: Was this odd pose enough to help our online Casanova lure any ladies?
