Speaking on This Morning today, he said: 'She's relaxed, she's feminine - that was the biggest thing for me, it sounds silly but, everything about her is feminine, so having a little girl...

It still amazes me every time I change the nappy - I'm like, "Oh my God, we've got a little girl!"... it still amazes me.'

David said Harper is incredibly calm compared to their three sons Brooklyn, 13; Romeo, nine; and Cruz, seven; but maybe that will change once she gets bit older is able to run around and shout.

He continued: 'A lot of people have told me - I've got friends that have got daughters and they said how different it is having a little girl - and I didn't realise how much it was until we had Harper.

'To have three boys... there's a lot of energy in the house, they are constantly on the go from the moment they wake up to the moment they sleep, and Harper is totally different.'

Although they've got their hands full with four children, David said he couldn't rule out having one or two more.

Although, if Victoria became pregnant again, she would have to be careful after all four children were delivered by caesarean section.

He said: 'You know, we're very lucky to have four healthy children, if we have one or two more... two might scare Victoria, but maybe one more! But we'll see... you never know.'

The athlete was speaking during a live outside broadcast from a primary school in South Harrow, North West London.

Beckham was playing football with a group of children as part of his role in Sainsbury's Billion Kids challenge.

Please, please please let this man just melt into obscurity and never ever be heard of again. He was only ever a mediocre footballer at best and he has ABSOLUTELY NOTHING worthwhile to say. MH, Thetford , 1/6/2012 17:12 *************************** You obviously know nothing about football Beckham was much much more than a mediocre footballer - what a spitefull comment

A daughter who is nearly one year old being feminine? She is one. It will be normal of course for her to come more feminine as she grows older. Not at less than a year old David! - Alana, France, 1/6/2012 19:15 /////////////// He probably means 'dainty' - give him a break he's terrific!

He is getting more and more like a young Clint Eastwood everyday. Mixed in with Ricky Gervais.

In the fourth picture it looks as though he's forgotten to put his teeth in.

He's a God, in my next life I want to marry him!!!

David 's new look is ridiculous, not flattering at all. However, more lush pics of Harper please. I am in love with the gorgeous toddler.

I see the bitchy brigade are out in force again.. - Dancer, Reading, 01/6/2012 16: oh they always are slagging people of they dont know- hannah, telford, 1/6/2012 17:03 Whereas all those who praise them actually know them so well, of course

For goodness sake David get shot of that awful moustache it's put years on you

just lvoe to see this first picture of harper with david together .cutie baby

I know what he means. My daughter is so passive yet my son doesn't stop. It'd take me a while to get use to a passive child if I had a few non stoppers!
