Mena Suvari steps out with mystery man

Mena Suvari seems to be putting her love woes firmly behind her.

The actress, who split last year from her husband of two years, Simone Sestito, stepped out with a new male companion today.

Looking relaxed and carefree, the America Pie: Reunion star was spotted lunching today in West Hollywood with the mystery man.

Mena, 33, was seen meeting her friend at a tattoo studio before going to lunch at local Mauro's Cafe.

But there seemed to be more to their relationship as she slung her arm around his shoulder while they laughed and chatted with a group of friends.

Mena looked chic in a printed maxi skirt and black tank top, her eyes shielded by oversized sunglasses.

Her outing comes not long after she was said to have reached a divorce settlement with he ex-husband, Simone Sestito.

The former couple split last November after less than two years of marriage.

Proceedings were said to have become tense amid reports Sestito asked for $17,000 a month from the actress, alleging she earns $750,000 a year.

According to court documents, the concert promoter claimed he had 'negative balances' on all his personal and business accounts and was forced to pay his bills with credit cards and loans from his parents as a result.

However, her representative told TMZ the pair eventually mediated their issues and resolved the situation.

Mena's rep said: 'They have amicably resolved their financial differences outside of Mediation and Court.

'Neither party will pay the other any support.'

Mena's first marriage to cinematographer Robert Brinkmann ended in 2005 after a five-year union.

She recently admitted all her exes end up hating her and she isn't on good terms with any of them.

She explained: 'I've never run into an ex who I have fallen back in love with. They all end up hating me.

'I just keep moving on. I don't like going back, I think that's unhealthy.'

Despite her personal problems, Mena's career appears to be moving along smoothly.

She is scheduled to appear in three upcoming films including an untitled comedy from writer Hilary Winston about a woman who seeks help from her friends to get revenge on an ex-boyfriend for dumping her.

The film, co-starring Freddie Prinze Jr, is slated for release later this year.
