Scandal: Made In Chelsea's Spencer Matthews has allegedly been photographed snorting cocaine

Made In Chelsea star Spencer Matthews has allegedly been photographed snorting cocaine in front of stunned fans at a party.

The 23-year-old reality TV star is now said to be facing the axe from the E4 show following the scandal, which apparently took place at a event in Bath, Somerset.

According to The Sun, Matthews was photographed by a partygoer at the event following a nightclub appearance when he is said to have 'produced a bag of cocaine, grabbed a DVD case and did a line'.

The source told the newspaper: 'It made me feel really uncomfortable - but he acted like it was the most natural thing in the world.

'I was disgusted and surprised that he'd do it with people he did not know.'

After allegedly snorting the drug himself, Matthews is then said to have offered it to other par tygoers, according to the source.

The Sun also claim that Matthews attempted to buy the photographs before they were made public.

And the scandal looks likely to affect broker Matthews' future on Made In Chelsea, as he has yet to sign a deal to continue on the hit programme.

A source told the paper: 'Spencer was about to sign a big deal but this could put a spanner in the works.'

It has also been alleged that some of the other Made In Chelsea castmembers, including Francis Boulle and newcomer Kimberley Garner,  have been warned about 'unprofessional behaviour'.

Matthews made no reference to the apparent scandal last night as he attended the London premiere of Zac Efron's new movie The Lucky One.

He currently has his arm in a sling after breaking a bone in his elbow, as well as dislocating both his shoulders and tearing a ligament in his knee in a powerboating accident on Saturday.

MailOnline has contacted Matthews' spokesperson and a Made In Chelsea spokesperson for comment.

Meanwhile, the E4 show was announced today as nominated for a Bafta at the forthcoming TV awards.

Made In Chelsea will go up against An Idiot Abroad, Don’t Tell The Bride and The Young Apprentice for Best Reality Constructed.

He doesn't have a job to lose

I love MIC. How all the cast still talk to him is beyond me, whenever he comes on the telly, I lose all interest. MIC is great entertainment I have to say but Spencer is not making it any more fun. He is after getting to big for his boots since the series came back.

is anyone suprised? not me. Caggie is renowned for it, you only have to look at the pictures of her with Plan B to see it for yourself x - Daisy , London, 24/4/2012 14:15 at least get the facts straight before you charge in- Caggie is not going out with plan B- Millie is! *sigh*

The guys a plank!

Serves him and the shows watchers right. The fact he is known as a star Is shocking. He has no talent and isn't a nice person. Give us some real showbiz news DM no more of this Chelsea and Essex lark

I bet Albert Tatlock had more!!!! lol.

Had gone off him after last night`s episode....thinks he`s god`s gift....doesn't respect women...Hope Jaime gets Louise.....But snorting coke in public just reaffirms he`s a tool

Stupid boy. That will follow him around for years. Might get him a part in a seedy sitcom though. Sorry drug use isn't glamourous.

The problem with drugs is that people say it doesn't make you a bad person and that it only affects the user. Try telling that to people who have been robbed to fund an addicts habit, to neighbours who have been forced to move due to the antisocial behaviour of the people next door, to people who have been abused to ensure they don't go to the police and report it, to babies and young children who have been neglected while the rich or poor parents indulge themselves, to that driver killed by a drug driver. Sorry folks, it ain't harmless and it can make you a bad person. And it doesn't just affect the user and their choice in many cases.

Maybe it was Beechams Powder for a hangover ?. Did he inhale ?. Silly boy showing off in public.
